Call For A Cure
The NDHSAA has joined in the fight against Cancer by partnering with the "Calling for a Cure" campaign for the 2008/09 sport season. All Girls and Boys officials will be able to go to www.foundationsresourcegroup.com and order a Pink Fox 40 whistle for $5.00, your whistle will then be shipped directly to you. We will then designate September 15 - 20 and the last week of January to coincide with "Coaches vs. Cancer" when we will ask all officials to use their pink whistle during the game that they are working. You will then be invited to make a VOLUNTARY donation of 25% of your game check that day to "Calling for a Cure"; all funds raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society in the name of the NDHSAA Sports Officials
Calling for a Cure - Game announcement
Ladies and Gentlemen, you will notice that tonight’s game officials are blowing Pink whistles; this is done in support of the American Cancer Society. Many Officials across America are donating a portion of their game check tonight to this very worthy cause. Please give them a big hand for their support!
