Girls Basketball Officials and Judges
The registration deadline for each sport is the last clinic date for that sport. NDHSAA rules clinic attendance is mandatory for all applicants. Online exams must be taken each year by every official. The NDHSAA website will have a link to online exams. Officials must attend a NDHSAA rule clinic each year. Beginning with the 2002-03 school year, each basketball official must have officiated or have been a supervisor at a NDHSAA approved rules clinic/day camp within the previous three years to be eligible for officiating region and state tournaments.

2008-09 Basketball Subvarsity Officials' Information
Subvarsity registration is available in football, volleyball and basketball. Mandatory requirements for subvarsity officiating in these sports only are as follows: Payment of registration fee and workshop attendance.
Subvarsity workshops are hosted by District Chairs. Contact your District Chair for Subvarsity workshop schedules in your area.

2008-09 Basketball Rules Clinics
NOTE: Remember, renewal registrations are due by July 1st without penalty. Deadline for registration of officials for each sport is the last clinic date. All meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. local time unless otherwise noted.
Each basketball official must have officiated or have been a supervisor at an NDHSAA approved rules clinic/day camp within the previous three years to be eligible for officiating region and state tournaments
The attendance is mandatory of head coaches and all officials at one of the rules clinics. Officials and coaches may fulfill attendance requirements by attending any official rules clinic conducted by any of the state associations and having their attendance card sent to the NDHSAA office for credit.
NOTE: THERE ARE NO MAKE-UP RULES CLINICS! A COACH/OFFICIAL MUST ATTEND ONE OF THE CLINICS or CLINIC/DAY CAMPS PER SPORT LISTED IN THIS SCHEDULE. A SCHOOL MUST PAY $50 FOR NON-ATTENDANCE OF A COACH AT ONE OF THESE CLINICS. THE SECOND NON-ATTENDANCE VIOLATION BY A SCHOOL IN ONE YEAR WOULD RESULT IN A $100 FEE.
