Softball is a new sport to NDHSAA for the 2008/09 school year. NDHSAA administrates one division of softball, held in our spring season. Use the links above to navigate through the softball information.

Softball Online Exam Window
April 6 – April 13
Officials and head coaches of baseball, basketball, football, gymnastics, hockey, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, volleyball and wrestling must take an open book test in the sport(s) in which he/she is a head coach/official. The test will be available on-line only and must be completed and submitted within the applicable window. Online testing will be explained at rules clinics. There will not be a late testing window. If you created a profile to take an exam for any sport in the 2008/09 season you must use this profile. If you did not create an online testing profile in the 2008/09 school year, you must create an account and profile. This profile is in no way connected with MVP accounts on the NDHSAA website. You may create your profile before the test window opens.

The NDHSAA Board of Directors has approved the recommendation of the Officials Committee to schedule workshops for NDOA registered fast pitch umpires in preparation for the 2009 inaugural sanctioned season of girls’ high school fast pitch softball.
Attendance at one of these workshops will be mandatory for umpires as well as attending a rules clinic and taking the on-line rules test
