Boys Soccer Tournament Information

State Tournament: October 16, 17, 18, 2008 - Fargo

The NDHSAA Boys’ State Soccer Tournament will be played October 16-18 in Fargo with Curt Jones as manager. Thursday and Friday games are at the Pepsi Complex and Saturday games are at Fargo North High School.Click HERE for Results

Additional Tournament Information

The higher seeded team is to be designated “home”. If like seeds play, the team to be “home” is the team from the region hosting the state tournament.

Pool A. W-1, E-4, E-2 and W-3
Pool B. E-1, W-4, W-2 and E-3

** Ties following pool play will be resolved as follows:
1. Head to head
2. Fewest goals allowed
3. Goal differential (max. 3)
4. Shootout if two teams
5. If multiple teams are tied, use seed numbers

Note: If there is a multiple team tie and the highest team or lowest team is determined through any one of the steps, repeat the process from step one and repeat until all ties are broken.
If the score is tied at the end of regulation play, there shall be a maximum of two, ten-minute, “golden goal” overtime periods. If tied, a shootout will be used to determine the winning team
