2008 Girls' Class A State Golf Tournament

The Girls' State Class A Golf tournament will be held in Minot on Monday and Tuesday, October 6 & 7, 2008

The 27th Annual NDHSAA sponsored State Class A Girls’ Golf Tournament will be held at the Minot Country Club. The tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, October 6th and at a time designated by the tournament manager on Tuesday, October 7th.

Teams qualifying from the East Region Tournament are: Grand Forks Red River, Fargo Shanley, Fargo South, West Fargo, Wahpeton and Grand Forks Central.  Teams qualifying from the West Region Tournament are Minot, Bismarck Century, Dickinson, Jamestown, Williston and Bismarck.

All participants will play 18 holes each day.  There will be a medalist named plus 9 “all-state” recipients at the conclusion of 36 holes of competition.

Last year’s state champion was Fargo Shanley with a team score of 637. Returning to the state tournament from last year’s “top ten individuals” are Laura Kraft, Jamestown and Ashley Beard, Williston
